KDOG is a medical innovation research program sustained by French Institut Curie (Paris). It purchases to elaborate a simple, non-invasive and cost-effective breast cancer screening method, which would be based on dogs’
The KDOG project gathers healthcare professionals (nurses, surgeons, oncologists, anesthetists…) from the Institut Curie, as well as researchers in chemistry and biology; and finally, ethologists, veterinaries and dog handlers. Helped by several enthusiastic volunteers, these professionals collaborate to improve breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
