PUBLICATION OF THE KDOG’S STORY: ISABELLE FROMANTIN’S NOVEL – 4/5/2018
Only available in French for the moment, Isabelle Fromantin and Sandra Kollender wrote a novel called ‘Blouse blanche et poils de chiens’. Published in April 2018, the book traces the story of the KDOG project – or the way Isabelle Fromantin found out more about the smell of cancer. All the KDOG adventure is detailed with humor and transparency. Good reading to you!
DOG NYKIOS WAS AWARDED THE ‘HEROIC DOG’ PRIZE AT THE PARIS CITY HALL – 12/7/2017
On December 7th, 2017, the ceremony awarding “dog heroes” took place at the Paris City Hall at the initiative of the French Kennel Club. Several service dogs, assistance dogs, police dogs or sniffer dogs were rewarded for their bravery and the service rendered to human beings. Nykios was honored to be awarded the prize for “medical sniffer dog”. The KDOG team thanks the jury for this trophy. This event was the occasion to put forward the wonderful job realized by our dogs and our amazing dog expert!
THE ‘PINK RIBBON’ PRIZE – 11/1/17
2017 was dedicated to the 14th edition of the Pink Ribbon Award realized by the association “Cancer of the Breast, Let's talk about it!”
The Pink Ribbon Awards are intended to support the efforts of the Research, clinical or biological, but also the innovations and remarkable progress in the techniques of screening, restorative surgery, psychology or improvement of the quality of life for the patients.
The KDOG team is pleased to have been awarded the Pink Ribbon "Quality of Life" Award. KDOG received 40,000 € to continue the research program!
